How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide the right dose and how often you need Cluvot based on your condition.

Method

Cluvot is given as an injection or infusion directly into a vein.

Important

A maximum daily dose is not specified, but the medicine should not be infused faster than 4 ml per minute.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reactions such as itchy skin, rash, low blood pressure (causing faintness or dizziness), and trouble breathing.
  • Fever (increased body temperature).
  • Your body developing antibodies against Factor XIII, which can make the medicine less effective.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Cluvot if you are allergic to the active substance or any other ingredient.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had allergic reactions to Factor XIII before. You might need preventive medicine.
  • If you get a severe allergic reaction (like trouble breathing or dizziness), stop using Cluvot immediately.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had a blood clot (thrombosis) recently, as this medicine needs to be used with caution.
  • Watch for signs that the medicine is not working, as your body might develop antibodies. If bleeding continues, contact your doctor.
