How to Use

Dosage

One single-dose container in the infected ear twice a day (morning and evening), preferably 12 hours apart, for 14 days.

Method

Wash your hands, gently clean the ear canal, warm the single-dose container in your hand for 1-2 minutes, then twist off the cap and lie down with the affected ear facing up; squeeze all the medicine into the ear, gently pull the earlobe to help the drops flow, and stay lying down for 1 minute.

Important

Do not use more than two single-dose containers in one infected ear per day.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Ruptured eardrum
  • Ear pain
  • Ringing or buzzing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Numbness, tingling, or prickling sensation (paresthesia)
  • Pain at the application site
  • Severe allergic reactions like itching, rash, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat, and trouble breathing or wheezing. If these happen, stop using the medicine and call your doctor right away.

Important Warnings

  • This medicine is only for you. Do not give it to others, even if they have similar symptoms.
  • Only use this medicine in your ears. Avoid getting it in your eyes; if it gets in your eyes, rinse them with plenty of water and contact an eye doctor if needed.
  • If you have a ruptured eardrum, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • Do not use Clotic if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Finish the full course of treatment, even if your ear feels better, to prevent the infection from worsening or coming back. If you need to stop early, contact your doctor.
