How to Use
Dosage
For severe high blood pressure, you might first receive half an ampoule (0.075 mg) under the skin or into a muscle. If given into a vein, it will be diluted and given very slowly.
Method
This medicine is given as an injection under the skin, into a muscle, or into a vein after mixing it with a fluid.
Important
The maximum dose you can receive is 1 ampoule, up to four times a day (0.6 mg total). The overall maximum dose by injection is 0.9 mg per day.

Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to clonidine hydrochloride or any other ingredients.
- Do not take if you have certain heart rhythm problems, like sick sinus syndrome or 2nd or 3rd degree AV block.
- Do not take if your heart rate is below 50 beats per minute (bradycardia).
- Do not take if you are breastfeeding.
- Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, especially if you have been on it for a long time or at high doses, as it can cause serious and potentially life-threatening high blood pressure, fast heart rate, and other symptoms.

- Clonidine Macure is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18.
- Avoid alcohol during treatment as it can increase the sedative effects unpredictably.
- Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, or vision problems.
- This medicine should not be used with methylphenidate (for ADHD) in children, as severe side effects and even deaths have occurred.
