How to Use

Dosage

1 or 2 drops in each eye.

Method

Wash your hands before use. Do not touch the dropper tip. Gently put 1 or 2 drops into each eye 2 or 3 times a day for temporary relief.

Important

Do not use more than 3 doses in 24 hours.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Minor irritation or stinging in the eye
  • Mild blurred vision
  • Slight widening of the pupil (the black circle in the middle of the eye)
  • Allergic reactions like itching or rash
  • Eye pain
  • Changes in vision
  • Nausea (feeling sick)
  • Headache
  • Dizziness

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to naphazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have increased eye pressure (glaucoma), especially narrow-angle glaucoma.
  • Do not use if you have damage to the outer layer of your eye (cornea) or inflammation of the colored part of your eye (iris).
  • Do not use if you have taken MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression) in the last 14 days.
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, heart or blood circulation problems, hardened arteries, any eye disease for which you are treated by a doctor, or depression.
  • Stop using the medicine and see a doctor right away if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, sensitivity to light, constant redness or irritation in your eye, or if your condition worsens or does not get better after 24 hours.
  • If you experience blurred vision, do not drive or use machines until your vision is clear.
  • Remove contact lenses before using these eye drops. Wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
