How to Use

Dosage

You will take two doses. Each dose is one sachet mixed with water.

Method

Mix one sachet with 150 ml of cold water. Stir for 2-3 minutes; if it gets warm, let it cool. Drink immediately. Wait 10 minutes, then drink 1.5-2 liters of clear liquids (250-400 ml per hour), such as clear soups or electrolyte solutions. Do not drink plain water only.

Important

Do not take more than two sachets within a 24-hour period. The two doses should be taken at least 5 hours apart.

  • Rashes, including hives, itching, and bruising under the skin
  • Gas and pain in the bowels

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in CitraFleet.
  • Do not take if you have severe heart problems (heart failure) or severe kidney problems, or if you have too much magnesium in your blood.
  • Do not take if your stomach doesn't empty properly, you have a stomach ulcer, or you have a bowel blockage or abnormal bowel movement.
  • Do not take if you have a damaged, swollen, or perforated (holed) bowel.
  • Do not take if you have recently been sick, feel sick, are severely dehydrated, or have a swollen belly due to fluid buildup.

  • Tell your doctor if you have had recent bowel surgery, kidney or heart problems, an imbalance of salts in your body, epilepsy or seizures, low blood pressure, or if you are elderly or physically weak.
  • Contact your doctor if you get severe stomach pain or bleeding from your bottom after taking this medicine, as this could be a serious bowel inflammation.
  • It is very important to drink plenty of clear fluids after taking CitraFleet to prevent dehydration and low blood pressure.
