How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you how much to take. A common starting dose for adults is 30 mg once a day.

Method

Take the tablets with or right after food. Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, crush, or break them.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to cinacalcet or if your blood calcium levels are too low.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had seizures, liver problems, or heart failure.
  • Cinacalcet Stada can lower your blood calcium too much, which can be dangerous; contact your doctor immediately if you experience muscle cramps, numbness, or confusion.
  • Low calcium levels can cause heart rhythm problems; tell your doctor if your heart beats unusually fast or strong.
  • Do not drive or operate machines if you feel dizzy or have seizures while taking this medicine.
