How to Use

Dosage

One applicator is used per treatment area, chosen by your doctor or nurse based on the procedure and size of the area.

Method

Remove the packaging, hold the sponge downwards, and squeeze the applicator once to release the solution. Gently rub the sponge on the skin for 30 seconds. Allow the treated area to dry completely.

Important

This solution is for single-use and should not be applied repeatedly to the same area.

  • Red and itchy rash
  • Wheezing or difficulty breathing

  • Metallic taste in mouth
  • Fainting or collapse
  • Low blood pressure
  • Skin rash (general)

  • Skin pain
  • Redness of skin
  • Blisters on skin
  • Dry skin
  • Inflamed skin
  • Flaky skin
  • Eye irritation
  • Eye pain
  • Reduced vision
  • Chemical burns (skin)
  • Eye injury
  • Skin burns in newborns/infants

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine or any other ingredient in this product.
  • For external use on skin only.
  • Do not use near eyes, ears (inner ear), or sensitive body areas (mucous membranes), or on open wounds or nerve tissue (like brain/spinal cord). If it gets into eyes or sensitive areas, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
  • Stop use and see a doctor right away if you get a rash, asthma, swelling of the face/lips/tongue/throat, wheezing, breathing problems, weakness, dizziness, metallic taste, or faint. These could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Apply gently. Excessive force or repeated use on fragile/sensitive skin can cause irritation, redness, dryness, itching, or pain. Stop use if this happens.

  • Do not let the solution pool on the skin or soak into clothes/drapes. Remove wet materials before use.
  • This solution is flammable. Do not use near open flames or heat, and let skin dry completely before any electrical procedures.
  • Use with caution in newborns, especially premature babies, as it can cause chemical burns.
  • Tell your doctor or nurse if you've recently had a vaccine or a skin patch test.
