How to Use

Dosage

Use the content of one single-dose container in the affected ear twice a day.

Method

Clean the outer ear gently. Warm the drops in your hand for 1-2 minutes, then twist off the cap. Tilt your head and put all the drops into the affected ear. For outer ear infections, pull your earlobe up and out. For middle ear infections with tubes, gently press the small flap in front of the ear canal 4 times. Keep your head tilted for about 1 minute to allow the medicine to soak in.

Important

Use one single-dose container per affected ear, twice a day for seven days. Do not use more than prescribed.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ciprofloxacin, other quinolones, fluocinolone acetonide, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have an ear infection caused by a virus or fungus.
  • This medicine is only for ears. Do not swallow it, inject it, inhale it, or use it in your eyes.
  • If you get a rash, hives, or other allergic reactions (like sudden swelling of face, throat, eyelids, or trouble breathing), stop treatment right away and contact your doctor.
  • Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not get better before your treatment ends.

  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • There is limited experience with this medicine in children under 6 months old. Talk to your doctor before giving it to a child under 6 months.
  • Do not use with other ear medicines unless your doctor tells you to.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
