How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one vial (5 ml) per day.

Method

Cernevit is usually given as a drip directly into a vein.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Severe allergic reactions that can be life-threatening.

  • Increased liver enzyme levels in the blood.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Cernevit if you are allergic to its ingredients, especially vitamin B1, soy protein, or peanut protein.
  • Children under 11 years old should not use Cernevit.
  • Do not use Cernevit if you already have too much of any vitamin in your blood (hypervitaminosis).
  • Do not use Cernevit if you have very high calcium levels in your blood or urine, or a condition that causes this.
  • Do not use Cernevit if you are already taking other products containing vitamin A or its derivatives.

  • Talk to your doctor before using Cernevit if you have liver or kidney disease, epilepsy, or Parkinson's disease.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor. Cernevit is generally not recommended during breastfeeding due to the risk of vitamin A overdose in the baby.
