How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet every day.

Method

Swallow one tablet whole with water at about the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to desogestrel, soy, peanuts, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have a blood clot (thrombosis) in a blood vessel, for example, in your leg or lungs.
  • Do not use if you have or have had yellow skin (jaundice) or a severe liver disease and your liver is not working normally.
  • Do not use if you have or are suspected to have a cancer that is affected by sex hormones, such as certain types of breast cancer.
  • Do not use if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding.

  • Do not use if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
  • Ceranor does not protect against HIV (AIDS) or other sexually transmitted infections.
  • Some women using hormonal birth control, including Ceranor, have reported depression. If you experience mood changes or symptoms of depression, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
  • Check your breasts regularly and contact your doctor as soon as possible if you feel a lump.
