Cardioplexol is a medicine used in heart surgery to quickly and completely stop the heart during the operation.
The usual initial dose is 100 ml, followed by 100 ml after 45 minutes, and then every 30 minutes if needed during surgery.
This medicine is injected directly into your heart's arteries by a trained heart surgeon. It is given quickly after the main artery (aorta) is clamped.
The dose will be carefully determined by your doctor during surgery, typically 100 ml initially and up to 100 ml every 30-45 minutes as needed.
