Cardiol contains carvedilol, a beta-blocker that helps widen blood vessels and is used to treat high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
Your doctor will determine your individual dose and how often you should take it, usually starting with a small dose that is gradually increased.
Take the tablets with liquid. You can generally take them with or without food, but if you have heart failure or tend to feel dizzy, it's recommended to take them with a meal. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Your doctor will set your maximum daily dose; do not take two doses too close together (less than 6 hours apart).
