How to Use

Dosage

One 500 mg vaginal suppository and cream application as needed.

Method

Insert the vaginal suppository deeply into the vagina, preferably at bedtime, using the applicator. Lie on your back with knees slightly raised. Apply the cream thinly to the affected external genital area 2-3 times a day.

Important

Vaginal suppository: one dose. Cream: Apply 2-3 times daily to the affected external area.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to a doctor before use if this is your first vaginal infection, you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, have recurring infections (more than twice in 6 months), are under 16 or post-menopausal, or have fever (38°C or higher), lower abdominal pain, back pain, smelly vaginal discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding, or shoulder pain.
  • Do not use the vaginal suppository during your period.
  • Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment to prevent spreading the infection to your partner.
  • This medicine can make latex condoms and diaphragms less effective.

  • Do not swallow the vaginal suppository or cream.
  • If your symptoms do not improve within 7 days or get worse, contact a doctor.
  • If you are pregnant, do not use the applicator for inserting the vaginal suppository.
