A healthcare professional will give you this medicine as an injection into a muscle or slowly into a vein (as an injection or infusion).
Important
Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose. For injections into a vein, the medicine should not be given faster than 160 mg per minute.

COMMON

- •Sleep problems (after high doses)

- •Allergic reactions, including severe ones like trouble breathing, dizziness, and hives
Important Warnings
- Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to calcium folinate or any other ingredient in it.
- Do not use this medicine if you have certain types of anemia caused by a lack of vitamin B12, such as pernicious anemia or megaloblastic anemia.
- Do not use this medicine with certain cancer drugs if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as decided by your doctor.
- This medicine must not be given into the spinal fluid as it can be very dangerous.
- Tell your doctor right away if you get sudden wheezing, trouble breathing, swelling of your eyelids, face or lips, or a rash or itching (especially all over your body). These could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
