How to Use
Dosage
One chewable tablet twice a day.
Method
The tablet can be chewed or sucked.
Important
The maximum recommended daily dose is two chewable tablets, which provides 1000 mg of calcium and 800 IU of vitamin D3.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Too much calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia) or urine (hypercalciuria) can occur with high doses.
RARE
- •Constipation, upset stomach (dyspepsia), gas, nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea.
- •Itching, rash, and hives.
- •Milk-alkali syndrome (Burnett's syndrome), which usually happens with very high calcium intake, with symptoms like frequent urination, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, unusual tiredness or weakness, increased blood calcium, and kidney problems.
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- Do not use if you have severe kidney disease.
- Do not use if you have too much calcium in your blood or urine, or if you have kidney stones.
- Do not use if you have too much vitamin D in your blood.
- Talk to your doctor if you are on long-term treatment, especially with medicines for high blood pressure, swelling (diuretics), or heart problems (cardiac glycosides).

- Talk to your doctor if you have sarcoidosis (an immune system disorder that can increase vitamin D levels).
- Talk to your doctor if you have osteoporosis and cannot move around (are immobile).
- Do not take other vitamin D supplements unless advised by your doctor.
- This medicine is not intended for children.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Do not exceed 2500 mg calcium and 4000 IU vitamin D daily during pregnancy.
- If you experience severe allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, tongue, lips, or throat, seek immediate medical attention.
