Burana tablets help relieve pain and reduce fever by decreasing the production of inflammation-causing substances in the body.
For adults and young people over 12 years, typically take 1 to 2 tablets (200 mg strength) or ½ to 1 tablet (400 mg strength), 1 to 3 times a day.
Take tablets with enough liquid, such as a glass of water. You can take them with or without food, but taking them with food may help prevent stomach upset.
For adults, do not exceed 1200 mg (6 tablets of 200 mg or 3 tablets of 400 mg) in a 24-hour period. For children, the maximum daily dose is 30 mg/kg of body weight.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. For short-term use only. Consider adverse renal effect in chronic kidney disease. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Increases swelling, worsens renal and heart failure and causes cardiovascular events. Increases risk of bleeding, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Consider potential interactions especially with preparations that increase risk of bleeding. (updated 16.9.2024)
