How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide your correct dose; the usual starting dose for adults and young people over 15 is two Bunalict 2 mg/0.5 mg tablets, which can be taken again up to two times on the first day.

Method

Place the tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve completely (about 5-10 minutes); do not chew, swallow, or eat/drink anything until it has fully dissolved.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 24 mg of buprenorphine.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Bunalict if you are allergic to buprenorphine, naloxone, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take Bunalict if you have severe breathing problems or severe liver problems.
  • Do not take Bunalict if you are drunk, have alcohol-related withdrawal symptoms, or are taking naltrexone or nalmefene for addiction.
  • If someone accidentally takes this medicine, especially a child, get emergency help right away. Do not give this medicine to others as it can be harmful or even deadly.
  • This medicine can cause severe breathing problems, which can be life-threatening, especially in children or people not addicted to opioids who take it by accident.
