How to Use

Dosage

1-2 doses inhaled into the lungs, morning and evening, or once daily in the evening for adults and children aged 6 years and older.

Method

Inhale the powder into your lungs through the inhaler's mouthpiece by following these steps: Shake the inhaler, load a dose by clicking it once, then inhale deeply. Remember to rinse your mouth with water afterwards.

Important

Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor. Always consult your doctor before changing your dose.

  • Fungal infections (thrush) in the mouth or throat

  • Muscle cramps
  • Trembling
  • Too much or too little cortisol in the blood
  • Adrenal gland problems
  • Skin rash
  • Itching
  • Bruising
  • Hoarse voice
  • Restlessness
  • Nervousness
  • Slowed growth in children
  • Behavior changes, especially in children
  • Severe allergic reaction with itching, rash, skin redness, swelling of eyelids, lips, face, or throat, wheezing, drop in blood pressure, or loss of consciousness
  • Worsening shortness of breath or wheezing immediately after inhalation
  • Glaucoma (high eye pressure)
  • Decreased bone mineral density (weakening of bones)
  • Sleep problems
  • Aggression
  • Increased motor activity (difficulty staying still), more often in children
  • Irritability, more often in children

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Budesonid Easyhaler if you are allergic to budesonide or lactose (which contains small amounts of milk protein).
  • Talk to your doctor before using Budesonid Easyhaler if you have: lung tuberculosis, untreated bacterial, viral, or fungal infections in your mouth, airways, or lungs, or severe liver disease.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each dose to prevent fungal infections in the mouth.
  • Budesonid Easyhaler does NOT stop an ongoing asthma attack. Always carry a fast-acting bronchodilator (a beta2-agonist) with you.

  • Budesonid Easyhaler is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
  • If you experience worsening shortness of breath or wheezing immediately after taking a dose, stop using Budesonid Easyhaler, use a fast-acting bronchodilator, and seek immediate medical help.
  • Do not stop using Budesonid Easyhaler without talking to your doctor first, as sudden discontinuation may worsen your asthma.
