Brivaracetam ratiopharm is a medicine used to help reduce seizures in adults and children 2 years and older who have epilepsy.
The typical starting dose for adults and children weighing 50 kg or more is 25-100 mg, taken twice a day. For lighter children, the dose depends on their weight. Your doctor will determine your exact dose.
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You can take this medicine with or without food.
For adults, the maximum daily dose is usually 200 mg. If you have liver problems, your maximum daily dose will be lower, up to 150 mg.
