Brivaracetam Glenmark is a medicine used with other epilepsy medicines to help reduce partial seizures in adults, teenagers, and children aged 2 years and older.
Your doctor will decide your dose. You usually take it twice a day, about 12 hours apart. For adults and children 50 kg or more: 25-100 mg twice daily. For children 20-50 kg: 0.5-2 mg per kg twice daily. For children 10-20 kg: 0.5-2.5 mg per kg twice daily.
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You can take them with or without food.
If you have liver problems, the maximum daily dose for adults and children 50 kg or more is 150 mg (75 mg twice daily). For children 20-50 kg, it is 3 mg/kg (1.5 mg/kg twice daily). For children 10-20 kg, it is 4 mg/kg (2 mg/kg twice daily).
