How to Use

Dosage

Method

Botox is given as an injection directly into the affected muscle, bladder wall (using a special tool), or deep under the skin, usually in several spots within the area.

Important

Your doctor will ensure you do not receive too much medicine and that there is enough time between treatments.

Important Warnings

  • Contact your doctor right away if you have trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking after the injection.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you get hives, swelling (especially in your face or throat), wheezing, feeling weak, or shortness of breath, as these could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
