How to Use
Dosage
Your doctor will decide the exact dose and injection sites based on your condition. The lowest effective dose will be used.
Method
The medicine is given as an injection directly into the muscle, bladder wall, or under the skin in the areas it needs to treat.
Important
Your doctor will determine the maximum safe dose per treatment session and the time between treatments. Never exceed your doctor's instructions.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site; headache; tiredness; muscle weakness.
- •Drooping eyelid; urinary tract infection; painful urination; inability to fully empty the bladder.
RARE
- •Severe allergic reaction, such as hives, swelling of the face or throat, wheezing, or difficulty breathing.
- •Trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; dizziness; double vision; general weakness.
- •Seizures; heart problems, such as irregular heartbeat or heart attack; food or liquid accidentally entering the lungs (pneumonia).
Important Warnings
- Seek immediate medical help if you have trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking.
- Get urgent medical attention if you experience a severe allergic reaction, such as hives, swelling of your face or throat, wheezing, or difficulty breathing.
- Do not use if you are allergic to botulinum toxin type A or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not use if you have an infection at the planned injection site.
- If you are being treated for urinary leakage and are unwilling to use a catheter if needed, you should not use this medicine.
