How to Use

Dosage

Typically one 10 mg tablet once daily, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Method

Take the tablet in the morning with water. Do not chew or crush it. The tablet can be divided.

Important

Maximum 10 mg per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Tiredness, weakness, dizziness, headache.
  • Cold or numb hands and feet.
  • Too low blood pressure.
  • Stomach problems like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation.
  • Slow heart rate.
  • Worsening of heart failure.
RARE
  • Sleep disorders, depression.
  • Dizziness when standing up.
  • Breathing difficulties (in patients with asthma or chronic lung disease).
  • Muscle weakness and cramps.
  • Slow or irregular heart rhythm.
  • Hearing problems, allergic rhinitis.
  • Reduced tear flow.
  • Liver inflammation (yellowing of skin or eyes).
  • Abnormal blood test results (liver function or fat levels).
  • Allergic reactions such as itching, redness, rash.
  • Erectile dysfunction.
  • Nightmares, hallucinations, fainting.
  • Eye irritation and redness (conjunctivitis).
  • Hair loss.
  • Onset or worsening of psoriasis.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to bisoprolol or any other ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have severe asthma or other serious lung disease.
  • Do not use if you have severe circulation problems in your limbs (e.g., Raynaud's syndrome).
  • Do not use if you have untreated pheochromocytoma (a rare tumor of the adrenal gland).
  • Do not use if you have too much acid in your blood (metabolic acidosis).

  • Do not use if you have acute heart failure or worsening heart failure requiring injection treatment.
  • Do not use if you have a very slow heart rate or very low blood pressure.
  • Do not use if you have certain heart conditions that cause slow or irregular heartbeats, or cardiogenic shock.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include bradycardia and orthostatic hypotension. Consider interactions , especially with drugs affecting the conduction system of the heart. (updated 20.1.2025)
