How to Use

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 14 years: 5 ml (8 mg) three times a day. If needed, the dose can be increased to 10 ml (16 mg) three times a day at the beginning of treatment. Children 6–14 years: 2.5 ml (4 mg) three times a day.

Method

You can take this medicine with or without food.

Important

Adults and adolescents over 14 years: maximum 30 ml (48 mg) per day. Children 6–14 years: maximum 7.5 ml (12 mg) per day.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Stomach upset (diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, or pain in the upper stomach).
  • Severe allergic reactions (symptoms like rash, itching, swelling of the face or throat, or trouble breathing).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to bromhexine hydrochloride or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have had stomach or duodenal ulcers.
  • If you get a skin rash (including sores in your mouth, throat, nose, eyes, or genital area), stop using Bisolvon and contact a doctor immediately.
  • Do not use this medicine for more than one week without a doctor's advice.
  • Should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • Contains liquid maltitol (if you have sugar intolerance, talk to your doctor before use) and benzoic acid (may increase jaundice risk in newborns).
