Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to bimatoprost or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you previously had to stop using eye drops because of side effects from the preservative benzalkonium chloride.
  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing problems, liver or kidney issues, have had cataract surgery, have dry eyes, have or have had problems with your cornea (the clear front part of your eye), wear contact lenses (remove them before using drops and wait 15 minutes before putting them back), have or have had low blood pressure or a slow heart rate, or have had an eye infection or inflammation.
  • This medicine can cause changes to your eyes and the skin around them. These include thinning of the fat pad around your eye (which can make your eyelid fold deeper or make your eye look sunken), droopy eyelids, tighter skin around your eye, or the white part of your eye becoming more visible. It can also make your eyelashes grow longer and darker, darken the skin around your eyelids, and darken the colored part of your eye (iris). These changes can be permanent and may be more noticeable if only one eye is treated.
  • Bimatoprost Stada has not been tested in children and adolescents under 18 years and should not be used by them.
