How to Use

Dosage

One 150 mg tablet once daily.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water, always at the same time each day (usually in the morning or evening).

Important

The maximum daily dose is one 150 mg tablet.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to bicalutamide or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are using certain antihistamines (like terfenadine or astemizole) or a stomach medicine called cisapride.
  • This medicine should not be given to women or children.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have liver disease.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have heart problems, such as an irregular heartbeat, or if you are taking medicines for heart issues, as this medicine can increase the risk of heart rhythm problems.

  • Talk to your doctor if you are taking other medicines, especially blood thinners or medicines that prevent blood clotting.
  • If you are taking this medicine, you and/or your partner must use contraception during treatment and for 130 days after treatment ends.
  • Avoid strong sunlight or UV light while taking this medicine.
  • If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars (lactose), talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.
