How to Use

Dosage

One drop twice a day in the affected eye.

Method

Wash hands, shake the bottle well. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and put one drop into the pocket between the eyelid and the eye. Gently press the bottom of the bottle. Close your eye and press the inner corner of your eye for 2 minutes. Do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the dropper tip.

Important

Maximum one drop twice a day per eye.

  • Tired eyes, eyelid twitching, eyelid disorders
  • High or low heart rate, breathing difficulties, asthma, shortness of breath
  • Nausea, runny nose
  • Clouding of the lens (cataract), eye disease
  • Fainting, unpleasant taste, cough
  • Skin inflammation, rash
  • Low blood pressure
  • Mood changes, fear or worry, decreased sex drive
  • Irregular heart rhythm, dizziness
  • Swelling around the eyes, hair loss, general weakness, allergy, insomnia

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to betaxolol, beta-blockers, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have or have had severe breathing problems like asthma or chronic lung disease.
  • Do not use if you have a slow heart rate, heart failure, or irregular heart rhythm.
  • Use this medicine only in your eyes.
  • Tell your doctor before any surgery or anesthesia that you are using this medicine.

  • Remove contact lenses before applying drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery if your vision is blurry after using the medicine.
  • If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between applying them and this medicine. Eye ointments should be applied last.
  • Ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.

Category C
