How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 60 IU per kilogram of your body weight.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Injection site reactions like bruising, cold feeling, discharge, redness, bleeding, hard lumps, swelling, pain, itching, rash, scarring, or warmth.
  • Cold symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, and watery eyes.
RARE
  • Allergic reactions like itchiness, rash, or hives.
  • Dizziness.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are severely allergic to C1-esterase inhibitor or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you experience a severe allergic reaction (trouble breathing, dizziness), stop the injection immediately and seek medical help.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had blood clots or other blood clotting problems, heart disease, stroke, or if you take medicines like birth control pills, as these can increase the risk of blood clots.
