How to Use

Dosage

Use the smallest possible amount, preferably on small skin areas and for short periods.

Method

Apply exactly as your doctor has told you.

Important

Avoid long-term use on large skin areas, especially for children, unless your doctor says otherwise. For children under 10, use only in very severe cases as directed by a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Thinning of the skin, making it fragile and papery.
  • More visible tiny blood vessels under the skin.
  • Stretch marks or bruising.
  • Rosacea-like rashes or purple spots on the skin.
  • Redness and swelling in treated areas.
RARE
  • Changes in skin color (lighter or darker spots).
  • Problems with adrenal glands, especially with long-term, widespread use.
  • Allergic skin reaction or hypersensitivity.
  • Increased body hair.
  • Worsening of psoriasis or other rashes.
  • Blurred vision or other eye problems.
  • Slow wound healing.
  • Increased eye pressure or risk of cataracts if used around eyes.
  • Withdrawal symptoms after stopping long-term use, such as spreading redness, burning, stinging, severe itching, peeling skin, or weeping blisters.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to betamethasone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use on skin infections caused by viruses, bacteria, or fungi (like chickenpox or ringworm), skin ulcers, rosacea, acne, or rashes on children under 1 year.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor if your skin becomes thin, damaged, or irritated in the treated area.
  • Avoid long-term use on large skin areas, skin folds, or under dressings, especially for children, as it can affect their growth.
  • Do not use on sensitive areas like the face or around the eyes for long periods.

  • Contact your doctor if symptoms worsen, don't improve within 2-4 weeks, or if you experience blurred vision.
  • Avoid getting the product in your eyes.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, discuss with your doctor; avoid large areas or long use, and do not apply to breasts while breastfeeding.
