Beclonasal Forte Aqua
Beclonasal Forte Aqua is a nose spray that contains a corticosteroid. It helps reduce inflammation and swelling in your nose to treat allergies, certain types of rhinitis, and to prevent nasal polyps from returning after surgery.
How to Use
Dosage
For adults and children over 6 years old, the usual dose is 1-2 sprays in each nostril once a day, or 1 spray in each nostril twice a day.
Method
First, blow your nose. Shake the bottle well. Insert the nozzle into one nostril while gently closing the other, then spray once while slowly inhaling through your nose. Remove the nozzle, breathe out through your mouth, and repeat for the other nostril. Use regularly for best results, which may take a few days.
Do not use more than 4 sprays (400 micrograms) total per day.
Possible Side Effects
- •Allergic reactions (e.g., skin rash, hives, itching, redness)
- •Unpleasant smell and taste
- •Nosebleeds, irritation and dryness in the nose and throat, sneezing
- •Severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing) - seek immediate medical help.

- •Sores in the nasal lining
- •Increased eye pressure (glaucoma), cataracts
- •Hole in the wall between the nostrils (nasal septum perforation)
- •Blurred vision
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to beclomethasone dipropionate or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- Do not use for children under 6 years of age.
- Talk to your doctor if you have sores or infections in your nose, frequent nosebleeds, or have recently had a nose injury or surgery.
- Tell your doctor if you have an untreated fungal, bacterial, or systemic viral infection.
- Talk to your doctor if you have asthma and are already treated with corticosteroids, or if you are using other oral or inhaled corticosteroids, as this can affect your adrenal gland function.

- Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
- This medicine contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause irritation or swelling of the nasal lining, especially with long-term use.
