How to Use

Dosage

One spray into each nostril, twice a day (morning and evening).

Method

Shake the bottle, gently blow your nose to clear it, tilt your head slightly forward, insert the spray tip into one nostril, press the pump once while breathing in gently through your nose, and repeat for the other nostril. Breathe out through your mouth.

Important

Do not use more than one spray in each nostril, twice a day (four sprays total per day).

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Nosebleed
  • Headache
  • Bitter taste in mouth (especially if head is tilted back when spraying)
  • Unpleasant smell
RARE
  • Mild irritation inside the nose (may cause stinging, itching, or sneezing)
  • Dry nose, cough, dry throat, or throat irritation
  • Dry mouth
  • Dizziness and drowsiness
  • Cataracts, glaucoma, and increased eye pressure (may cause blurred vision, red and painful eyes)
  • Damage to the skin and mucous membranes inside the nose
  • Nausea, tiredness, exhaustion, and weakness
  • Rash, itchy and red skin, hives
  • Bronchospasm (tightening of the airways)
  • Blurred vision
  • Nasal ulcers

Important Warnings

  • If you experience swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or have trouble breathing or swallowing, or get a sudden skin rash, seek medical help right away. These are signs of a severe allergic reaction (very rare).
  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to azelastine hydrochloride, fluticasone propionate, or any other ingredients listed in the leaflet.
  • Tell your doctor if you have recently had nose surgery.
  • Tell your doctor if you have an infection in your nose (bacterial or fungal), even if you are using other medicine for it.
  • Tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis or any untreated infection.

  • Tell your doctor if your vision changes, or if you have had increased eye pressure, glaucoma, or cataracts, as you will need careful check-ups.
  • Tell your doctor if you have reduced adrenal gland function, especially if you are switching from other steroid treatments.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe liver disease, as it might increase other side effects.
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years old.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy, or think you might be pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
  • This medicine can make you feel tired or dizzy. If this happens, do not drive or use machines. Avoid alcohol, as it can make these effects worse.
  • Do not stop using this medicine without talking to your doctor first, as stopping might make your allergy symptoms worse.
