  • Contact your doctor if you have sudden, severe pain in your lower belly, which could be a sign of a pregnancy outside the womb (ectopic pregnancy).
  • Tell your doctor at least four weeks before if you will be bedridden or need surgery.
  • Do not use Azalia if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
  • If you forget to take a tablet by more than 12 hours, its protection against pregnancy might be lower. Take the missed tablet as soon as you remember, then continue with the rest. Use an extra birth control method (like condoms) for the next 7 days. If you missed a tablet in the first week and had sex before that, you might be pregnant; ask your doctor for advice.
  • If you vomit within 3-4 hours of taking a tablet or have severe diarrhea, the medicine might not work as well. Follow the advice for a missed tablet.
  • Get help from a doctor right away if you have a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, making it hard to breathe or swallow.
  • If you experience mood changes or feel depressed, contact your doctor as soon as possible, as depression can be serious and may lead to thoughts of self-harm.
  • Azalia does not protect against HIV (AIDS) or other sexually transmitted infections.
