How to Use

Dosage

Apply two pump actuations to each armpit.

Method

Apply Axhidrox only to the skin of your armpits using only the pump cap, not your fingers.

Important

Apply once daily, preferably in the evening, to both armpits for the first four weeks. After this, you may reduce use to twice a week if sweating has decreased.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dry mouth
  • In the treated armpit: irritation, pain, itching, eczema, skin inflammation, rash, skin redness, small bumps
  • Dry nose
  • Dry eyes
  • Dry skin
  • Headache
  • Constipation
  • Blurred vision
RARE
  • In the treated armpit: dryness, acne, swelling, hardened skin, scars, small fluid-filled blisters, sores, pus-filled spots, inflamed hair follicles
  • Skin: eczema, itching all over, rash, skin redness, long-lasting eczema (atopic dermatitis), skin irritation, raised, firm skin patches (larger than 1 cm), acne, hives, unusual body odor, psoriasis-like skin condition
  • Mouth/Throat: dry lips, hands, mucous membranes, and throat, no saliva, stuffy nose, itchy, red or irritated eyes, pupils of different sizes, wide pupils, trouble seeing
  • Stomach: bloated belly, hard poop, digestion problems, feeling sick, pain in mouth and throat, tight feeling in throat
  • Mind/Body: feeling sleepy, tired, trouble focusing, worried, restless, trouble sleeping, poor sleep, dizzy, uncomfortable head
  • Urinary/Sweat: trouble peeing, sweating too much
  • Blood tests: low blood platelets, fast heartbeat, irregular heartbeat (long QT interval on ECG), high liver enzymes, bilirubin, and red blood cell volume, low hemoglobin in red blood cells

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to glycopyrronium or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have an eye disease called glaucoma (high pressure in the eye).
  • Stop use and get help right away if you get swelling in your face, lips, or throat, or if you have trouble swallowing or breathing, along with itching and rash. These could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Stop use and tell your doctor if you have trouble emptying your bladder, such as a weak stream, dribbling, needing to pee more often, or feeling that your bladder is full but won't empty.
  • Only apply to armpits. Do not let the cream get into your eyes, nose, or mouth, or on other people's skin. If it does, rinse well with water.

  • If you sweat much less and start to feel too warm or your body temperature rises, stop using the cream and see a doctor right away. This could be a sign of overheating or heatstroke.
  • If you get a dry mouth, keep your teeth clean and visit the dentist regularly, as you might be more likely to get cavities.
  • Do not use for children under 18 years old. This medicine has not been studied in children.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are pregnant, might be pregnant, are planning a baby, or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not drive, use machines, or do dangerous tasks until any blurry vision, drowsiness, or dizziness has gone away.
