How to Use

Dosage

For adults and children over 6 years: 2 inhalations (40 micrograms) 4 times a day.

Method

Remove the cap, breathe out deeply, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, press the canister down and breathe in deeply at the same time, hold your breath for a few seconds, remove the mouthpiece, breathe out slowly, then replace the cap.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 12 inhalations.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ipratropium bromide, any other ingredients in this medicine, atropine, or similar medicines.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate, narrowed urinary tract, a type of glaucoma called narrow-angle glaucoma, or cystic fibrosis.
  • Stop using this medicine and call a doctor right away if you get chest tightness, cough, wheezing, or shortness of breath immediately after using it.
  • Do not let the spray get into your eyes. If it does, rinse your eyes with running water for several minutes and contact a doctor if you have eye pain, redness, or blurry vision.
  • Do not use more than your doctor prescribed.
