How to Use

Dosage

Adults usually take 1 single dose (2.5 ml) 3 to 4 times a day.

Method

This medicine is used with a nebulizer. Do not swallow the solution. Follow your nebulizer's instructions: prepare it, open one container, squeeze the medicine into the nebulizer, use it, then throw away any leftover medicine and clean your device.

Important

Do not use more than 4 single doses (2.5 ml each) in one day.

  • Nervousness

  • Low potassium levels in blood

  • Temporary difficulty adjusting vision for different distances
  • Swelling of the cornea (front part of the eye)
  • Narrow-angle glaucoma
  • Increased pressure inside the eye
  • Widened pupils
  • Blurred vision
  • Eye pain
  • Redness in the white of the eye
  • Seeing rings of light (halos)
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat)
  • Increased pulse rate
  • Lack of oxygen in the heart muscle
  • Dry throat
  • Worsening of breathing right after inhaling, with airway narrowing
  • Spasm of the voice box (larynx)
  • Throat swelling
  • Diarrhea

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to ipratropium bromide, salbutamol, atropine, or any similar substance, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have certain heart problems, like a thick heart muscle or an irregular heartbeat.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact your doctor right away if you feel chest tightness, cough, wheezing, or have trouble breathing immediately after taking it.
  • Do not let the medicine get into your eyes, especially if you have glaucoma (high pressure in the eye).
  • If the medicine doesn't work as well as usual, or if you suddenly have more trouble breathing after taking it, contact your doctor right away.

  • Keep your mouth clean. This medicine can cause dry mouth, which might lead to tooth decay.
