How to Use
Dosage
Your doctor will determine your dose based on your weight. For children and adolescents under 70 kg, the starting dose is 0.5 mg per kg daily for at least 7 days, then typically increased to about 1.2 mg per kg daily. For those over 70 kg and adults, the starting dose is 40 mg daily for at least 7 days, then usually increased to 80-100 mg daily.
Method
Take the capsules whole with water, once or twice a day (morning and late afternoon/early evening). You can take them with or without food. Do not open the capsules or empty their contents. Take your medicine at the same time each day.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 100 mg.

- •Involuntary teeth grinding (bruxism)
Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to atomoxetine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not take if you have used an MAOI (a type of antidepressant) in the last 14 days, as this can cause serious side effects. Wait at least 14 days after stopping atomoxetine before starting an MAOI.
- Do not take if you have narrow-angle glaucoma (a serious eye condition with high pressure).
- Do not take if you have severe heart problems that could worsen with increased heart rate or blood pressure.
- Do not take if you have severe brain blood vessel problems, like a stroke or a bulge in a blood vessel (aneurysm).

- Do not take if you have a tumor on your adrenal gland (pheochromocytoma).
- Talk to your doctor if you have thoughts of harming yourself.
- Talk to your doctor if you have heart problems (including heart defects) or a fast heartbeat. This medicine can make your heart beat faster. Sudden deaths have occurred in people with heart defects.
- Talk to your doctor if you have high or low blood pressure, or sudden changes in blood pressure or heart rate.
- Talk to your doctor if you have liver problems, as you might need a lower dose.
- Talk to your doctor if you have psychotic symptoms (like hearing voices), mania (feeling overly excited), or aggressive/unfriendly feelings.
- Talk to your doctor if you have had seizures or epilepsy, as this medicine can increase the risk of seizures.
- Talk to your doctor if you have mood swings, feel very down, or have tics (repeated body movements or sounds).
- If you experience dark urine, yellow skin/eyes, unexplained nausea, stomach pain, tiredness, itching, or flu-like symptoms, stop taking Atomoxetin Orion and contact your doctor immediately as these could be signs of liver damage.
