Atenblock is a beta-blocker that primarily affects heart function, reducing the effect of stress hormones, slowing the heart rate, and lowering blood pressure, and it is used to treat high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and heart rhythm disorders, and can be used to prevent migraines.
The usual dose for adults is 50-100 mg per day. Take the dose as directed by your doctor.
Take the tablet with a sufficient amount of liquid, such as a glass of water. You can take the tablet on an empty stomach or with food.
Follow your doctor's instructions. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in moderately severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include bradycardia and orthostatic hypotension.
