How to Use

Dosage

For adults, take 300 mg of Atazanavir Stada capsules once a day, along with 100 mg of ritonavir and other HIV medicines.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with food, like a meal or a large snack. Do not open the capsules.

Important

Do not take more than 300 mg of Atazanavir Stada in one day. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you have moderate to severe liver problems.
  • Some medicines should not be taken with Atazanavir Stada. Always tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking, including herbal remedies.
  • This medicine does not cure HIV infection. You may still get other infections or illnesses related to HIV.
  • Do not breastfeed while taking Atazanavir Stada, as the medicine can pass into breast milk and HIV can be transmitted to the baby.

  • Tell your doctor if your heartbeat changes or if you feel dizzy or faint, as these could be signs of a serious heart problem.
  • Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor right away if you get a severe rash, especially if it comes with flu-like symptoms, blisters, fever, or swelling.
