Aspirin Cardio 100 mg helps prevent blood clots, especially in the blood vessels of the heart and brain, and can be used as first aid for a heart attack.
For preventing blood clots, the usual dose is 100-300 mg per day (1-3 Aspirin Cardio 100 mg tablets).
Swallow the tablets whole with plenty of water at least 30 minutes before a meal. For first aid during a heart attack, chew or crush 2-3 tablets (200-300 mg) and swallow them quickly.
Do not exceed 300 mg (3 tablets) in a single day.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Initiation of treatment under supervision of a physician. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Consider potential interactions especially with other drugs that increase the risk of bleeding. (updated 19.9.2025)
