How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose for adults is 15 mg once a day.

Method

Take the tablet once a day, at the same time each day, with or without food. Place the tablet on your tongue, where it will dissolve quickly. You can take it with or without liquid, or dissolve it in water.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 30 mg once a day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to aripiprazole or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you have thoughts of harming yourself or ending your life.
  • Tell your doctor if you have high blood sugar or a family history of diabetes.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of seizures.
  • Tell your doctor if you have uncontrolled muscle movements, especially in your face.

  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots or if they run in your family.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had problems with gambling, overeating, excessive shopping, or an unusually strong sex drive.
  • This medicine can make you drowsy, dizzy, or lower your blood pressure, which may lead to falls, especially if you are elderly or frail.
  • This medicine should not be given to children or young people under 15 years old.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine.
  • This medicine may cause dizziness and vision problems, so be careful when driving or operating machinery.
