How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 10 mg or 15 mg once a day. Your doctor may change your dose, but it will not be more than 30 mg per day.

Method

Take the tablet whole with water, with or without food, at the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than 30 mg in a single day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Diabetes
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Feeling anxious
  • Restlessness and inability to sit still
  • Akathisia (a strong urge to move constantly)
  • Uncontrolled twitching, jerking, or writhing movements
  • Shaking (tremor)
  • Headache
  • Tiredness
  • Drowsiness
  • Dizziness
  • Blurred vision
  • Constipation (infrequent or difficult bowel movements)
  • Indigestion
  • Nausea (feeling sick)
  • Increased saliva
  • Vomiting
RARE
  • Changes in blood levels of prolactin hormone
  • High blood sugar
  • Depression
  • Altered or increased sexual interest
  • Uncontrolled movements of the mouth, tongue, and limbs (tardive dyskinesia)
  • Muscle tension disorder causing writhing movements (dystonia)
  • Restless legs
  • Double vision
  • Eyes sensitive to light
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Drop in blood pressure when standing up, causing dizziness or fainting
  • Hiccups

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Aripiprazol Krka if you are allergic to aripiprazole or any of its ingredients.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you have thoughts of harming yourself.
  • Tell your doctor if you or your family notice unusual urges or behaviors you cannot resist, such as excessive gambling, eating, shopping, or sexual urges.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you experience muscle stiffness, high fever, sweating, changes in awareness, or a very fast or irregular heartbeat.
  • Be cautious of drowsiness, dizziness when standing up, and changes in balance, as these can lead to falls.

  • Do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better, unless your doctor tells you to.
