How to Use

Dosage

For adults, the usual dose is 30 mg twice a day, making a total of 60 mg daily. If you have severe kidney problems, the dose is 30 mg once a day in the morning.

Method

Take this medicine by mouth. Swallow the tablets whole with water, with or without food. Try to take them around the same time each morning and evening.

Important

The maximum daily dose for adults is 60 mg. For adults with severe kidney problems, the maximum daily dose is 30 mg.

  • Severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, leading to difficulty breathing or swallowing)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to apremilast or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you have worsening depression, suicidal thoughts, or any changes in mood or behavior.
  • If you have severe kidney problems, your doctor will adjust your dose.
  • Talk to your doctor if you lose weight unintentionally while taking this medicine.
