How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area 1 to 3 times a day.

Method

For external use only. Apply the cream or ointment to the affected skin.

Important

Do not exceed 3 applications per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Burning sensation on the skin
  • Itching
  • Skin irritation
  • Dry skin
  • Inflammation of hair follicles (folliculitis)
  • Increased hair growth
  • Acne
  • Pigmentation changes
  • Rash around the mouth (perioral dermatitis)
  • Allergic contact eczema
  • Softening of the skin (maceration)
  • Secondary infection
  • Thinning of the skin (skin atrophy)
  • Stretch marks
  • Heat rash (miliaria)
RARE
  • Blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to desonide or any other ingredients.
  • Do not use on open wounds, rashes around the mouth (perioral dermatitis), rosacea, or skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Use with caution on the face, armpits, groin, and skin folds.
  • Special caution for children. Do not use for children under 1 year of age.

  • Do not cover the treated skin area with airtight bandages unless directed by a doctor.
  • Contact a doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • Stop use and contact a doctor if the rash worsens during treatment.
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • This product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause allergic reactions.
