How to Use

Dosage

One tablet daily.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, at the same time each day, preferably in the morning, with or without food.

Important

Do not exceed the prescribed dose, which is usually one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Low potassium levels in the blood
  • Increased fat levels in the blood
  • Dizziness
  • Tiredness
  • Headache
  • Swelling in your ankles (edema)
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Frequent urge to urinate
  • Inability to get or maintain an erection
RARE
  • Severely reduced urine output (sign of kidney problems)
  • Spontaneous bleeding
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Liver problems (e.g., yellow skin/eyes)
  • Sudden severe breathing problems or chest pain
  • Swelling of face, lips, or tongue
  • Severe skin reactions (e.g., blistering, rash, peeling skin)
  • Heart attack
  • Inflammation of the pancreas (severe stomach pain)
  • Fever
  • Non-melanoma skin or lip cancer (potential risk)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are more than 3 months pregnant, as it can harm your baby.
  • Do not take if you are allergic to amlodipine, valsartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver or kidney problems, or if you cannot produce urine.
  • If you experience swelling of your face or throat (angioedema), stop taking this medicine immediately and contact your doctor.
  • If you experience vision loss or eye pain, contact your doctor immediately, as this could be a sign of a serious eye condition.
