How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 5 mg once a day. Your doctor may increase the dose to 10 mg once a day.

Method

Take the tablet with a glass of water at the same time each day, with or without food.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 10 mg for adults and 5 mg for children.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Amlodipin Sandoz if you are allergic to amlodipine or any other calcium channel blockers.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have recently had a heart attack or have heart failure.
  • Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while taking this medicine, as it can increase the levels of amlodipine in your blood.
  • Amlodipin Sandoz may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or tiredness. If this happens, do not drive or operate machinery and contact your doctor.

Category A
