How to Use

Dosage

Take ½ to 2 tablets once a day.

Method

The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Do not take more than 2 tablets per day.

  • Allergic skin rashes, sensitivity to light
  • Chest pain, fast heartbeat, sudden blood pressure drop when standing up
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Numbness or tingling in skin
  • Vision problems, eye pain due to high pressure, dizziness
  • Mild mood changes, sleep problems, nervousness, depression
  • Muscle or joint pain, muscle cramps
  • Problems with urination (e.g., pain, frequency, control)
  • Fainting
  • Blood salt imbalance, low magnesium

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to Amitrid or any of its ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney problems or very high blood potassium levels.
  • This medicine may increase the risk of certain skin cancers. Protect your skin from sun and UV light while using Amitrid.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience vision changes or eye pain.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe breathing difficulties after taking this medicine.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Effectiveness is reduced in renal impairment. Consider risk of orthostatic hypotension and hyponatraemia and -kalemia. (updated 19.5.2025)
