Aminoplasmal 16 N/l gives your body key building blocks called amino acids for growth and healing when you cannot eat or get food through a stomach tube.
Your doctor will decide how much medicine you need each day. For adults, it is usually 10 to 20 ml for every kg of your body weight per day. For children aged 2 to 18, the doctor will carefully set the dose based on their age, how they are growing, and their health, typically 10 to 25 ml per kg per day (up to 30 ml for children who are very sick).
This medicine is given as a liquid drip directly into a vein through a small tube.
The drip should not go faster than 1 ml for every kg of your body weight per hour.
