How to Use

Dosage

1–2 drops in the affected eye.

Method

Wash your hands. Remove the cap. Tilt your head back. Squeeze 1–2 drops inside the lower eyelid without touching your eye. Close your eye and press the inner corner near your nose for at least 1 minute. Wipe away any excess liquid. Close the cap immediately after use.

Important

Up to 3–4 times a day, depending on the severity of the infection.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Skin reactions around the eyes, suchf as rash or itching, or red eyes.
  • Eye pain or irritation, such as stinging or burning.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Amidazed if you are allergic to propamidine isethionate or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not wear contact lenses while using these eye drops.
  • Talk to your doctor if your vision gets worse.
  • Talk to your doctor if you get an allergic reaction, such as skin redness or inflammation.
  • This medicine contains benzalkonium chloride, which may irritate your eyes, especially if you have dry eyes. If you feel any unusual sensation, stinging, or pain, contact your doctor.

  • Your vision may be blurry after using this medicine. Do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear again.
  • If your symptoms do not improve or get worse within 2 days, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
  • If you or a child accidentally swallow the eye drops, contact a doctor or Poison Information Centre immediately for advice.
