How to Use

Dosage

For the first 2-3 days, take 5 ml three times a day. After that, take 5 ml twice a day. If needed, adults can increase the dose to 10 ml twice a day.

Method

Take this medicine by mouth after meals, using the dosing syringe provided. Drink a glass of water and plenty of fluids throughout the day after taking it.

Important

Do not take more than 20 ml per day.

  • Excessive salivation
  • Dry throat
  • Shortness of breath (a sign of an allergic reaction)
  • Severe allergic reactions including anaphylactic shock, swelling of the face or throat (angioedema), and itching.
  • Severe skin reactions (e.g., Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, or generalized pustular rash).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ambroxol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years old.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have or have had liver or kidney problems.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you develop a rash or sores in your mouth, throat, nose, eyes, or genital area.
  • If you have a rare lung condition that causes a lot of mucus, use this medicine only under a doctor's supervision.

  • Do not take cough suppressants (medicines that stop you from coughing) while using this medicine, as it can lead to dangerous mucus buildup.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, especially during the first three months.
  • This medicine is not recommended if you are breastfeeding.
  • This medicine contains sorbitol, which can cause stomach upset and has a mild laxative effect. If you have hereditary fructose intolerance, talk to your doctor before using.
  • Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsen after 5 days. Do not use for more than 4-5 days without a doctor's order.
