Ambrisentan Accord is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure in the lungs, making it easier for your heart to pump blood and easing symptoms.
Adults typically take one 5 mg tablet once a day. Your doctor might increase this to 10 mg once a day. For children (8-18 years), the dose depends on weight: 5 mg daily for those weighing 35 kg or more, and 2.5 mg daily for those weighing 20 kg to under 35 kg.
Take the tablet whole with water at the same time each day. Do not split, crush, or chew it. You can take it with or without food.
The maximum daily dose for adults is 10 mg. For children, the maximum dose depends on their weight and medical condition, but typically does not exceed 5 mg.
